Technical inspection

Technical control is carried out at the stages of processing, manufacturing, packaging, storage and export of Moroccan Agri-food and maritime products  intended for export.

This control ensures that these products comply with the legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to them in the export markets; in terms of technical regulations and standards, marketing standards, fair quality, physico-chemical, organoleptic, qualitative classification, and all other specific and general quantitative and qualitative specifications applied in the export markets …

This technical control also ensures compliance with the technical conditions provided for in the various agreements relating to the export of Moroccan Agri-food and maritime products .

It is exercised in accordance with the legislation and regulations in force, and in accordance with planned and ISO 9001 certified procedures.

The technical control consists of:

On the operational and organizational level, this technical control activity is carried out by regional representations covering the main regions of production, manufacturing, processing and/or packaging and shipping of agricultural and maritime food products for export.

A network of accredited laboratories accompanies these regional representations to carry out the analytical verifications required to rule on the conformity of products intended for export according to the requirements of the countries of destination.

MOROCCO FOODEX (EACCE) relies on its foreign representations in the main markets to monitor and promote the quality of product arrivals at destination

 

TECHNICAL APPROVAL OF UNITS

 

MOROCCO FOODEX (EACCE) participates in the evolution of the working conditions of companies exporting food and maritime products through a continuous monitoring of:

  • Risk analysis for the substantial improvement of working conditions in companies and therefore better quality control.
  • Support and assistance in setting up traceability and self-checking systems
  • Technical approval of follow-up units and audits
  • Registration of exporters (database).

As part of its modernization, the information system has been one of the main priorities of MOROCCO FOODEX’s overall strategy.

As a result, a new information system related to the activity of technical control is being developed. The objective of this system is the establishment of an open and efficient system whose mission will be to improve a number of tools and devices to, on the one hand, better control and channel the flow of information and data relating to exports of agri-food products and, on the other hand, to allow the exchange of computerized data with various partners.

EASY FOOD EXPORT DIGITAL SOLUTION

As part of its modernization, the information system has been one of the main priorities of MOROCCO FOODEX’s overall strategy.
As a result, a new information system related to the activity of technical control is developed, the objective of this system is the establishment of an open and efficient system which mission is to improve a number of tools and devices to, on the one hand, better control and channel the flow of information and data relating to exports of agri-food products and, on the other hand, allow the exchange of computerized data with various partners.

What we do
